5 Ways You Can Offer More Value To Your Customers

Spending time and money on generating and nurturing new leads is important but it is much easier to market to your existing customers and get them to buy more. Here are 5 ways you can offer your customers more value so that you can create dedictaed clients and jack up your overall sales:

1. Go beyond customer service expectations It’s good that most customers start off with low expectations when it comes to being served through a customer service department. If you can show that you’re different by engaging the problem and answering any questions as quickly and efficiently as possible, then you have gone beyond expectations and have made your customer very happy. You can also consider adding communication channels through social media or chat so that you can make your phone-shy customers more comfortable.

2. Give gifts People love to receive gifts. Just try and remember the last time you weren’t happy receiving an unexpected gift from a company you do business with. It doesn’t have to break the bank. You can give anything from discount coupons/promo codes to even a small card with a nice message.

3. Send emails people actually want to open Most of the time, people’s emails are bombarded with useless branded garbage that they never intend to open. If you don’t want to end up like one of the many emails your customers will inevitably be deleting all at once, try filling your emails with value dedicated to the individual customer. They will not only learn to appreciate you but they’ll be keeping you in their inbox as well.

4. Ask your customers what they want Insteaf of trying to figure out what to successfully market to your customers, why not ask them for their feedback? Creating and distributing surveys is a great way to find out exactly what kinds of features you can add to your products or what kind of changes you can make to your company so that your brand experience increases in a positive way.

5. Help your customers succeed This is especially helpful in the business to business (B2B) sphere. Many customers go to a specific vendor for one thing but have no idea what else they have to offer. You can often find more ways to help your customers succeed by having a conversation with them about their long-term needs. Even if you can’t personally help them, they’d sure appreciate a recommendation to someone who can. You’ll still be remembered for the help. Giving your customer more value makes them a more valued customer to you. Take that little phrase with you everywhere you go. If you can look past your customers as money-spending machines and see them as human beings, treating them as such will net you hefty bonuses in sales.
